Good movement for only being on the list a few weeks! The courts have officially opened back up after the closing for the rainy season...so now we can pray for God to move huge mountains and speed up the process! :)

The Impact of Closing Adoptions in Guatemala...Please Watch this
Most of you know that we were able to bring our daughter home from Guatemala a month before the country closed its doors to adoption in order to conform to the Hague Treaty...a treaty that the Guatemalan Government was not set up to support AT ALL.
Throughout the months of waiting to bring EJ home we knew that the country was on the verge of what happened in December of 2007 and we knew there was a great possibility that we would not bring our daughter home....
Our hearts still have hope to go back someday and adopt and even to serve.
This video lays out the truth and the impact of what is now happening to this beautiful countries children. I can't even explain what this does to my heart...the sadness the anger...but our hope is in the Lord. Please pray for Guatemala and it's children.

WaHOOOOO!
Y'all we are finally on the wait list! Yay Jesus!
Here our our numbers and these are for September, so probably very soon I will have updated numbers for October. A little note about the wait list with our agency. It is one big list divided into 3 sections. There is no age separation and families can be on more than one wait list and there are multiple families on the wait list. So in all actuality these numbers are smaller than they appear. We are on the boy, girl, and sibling list (twins) for an infant aged 0-12 months at time of referral.
Now we were told to be prepared for a wait of up to 18 months for a referral, but we will be praying it is way less and for our God to move mountains he can only move. Will you please pray for peace for us as we wait for our new little one(s)?

There is still Time!

Please e-mail me with orders by Monday, September 26. After I place the order I will e-mail you with your total and make payment arrangements.
**Also, if you have never seen the magazine necklaces they truly are beautiful and all so unique. The one I have I have worn with so many different outfits and I love it. I hope to order some bulk in these.**

Right now for this first leg of our adoption we currently need $7,000.00.... $5,500 of that will be due as soon as we receive our appt. date, and have our fingerprints taken.
With each purchase you not only help our family get one $ closer to our newest addition, but you are also helping provide food, water, and medicine to one child.
AND for the month of August and September 147 is donating proceeds for a well for a village of children who currently walk 2 hours everyday for clean water. Can you imagine? You can find more details on that HERE.
